An Anti-Christ In His Own Words – Episode 1: Dedication & Prologue
Welcome to the first episode of An Anti-Christ In His Own Words.
In this opening installment, I share the dedication behind this series and introduce the Prologue: “By Their Fruits You Shall Know Them.” We begin by grounding this project in the Gospel standard of discernment, not personality, not power, not spectacle, but fruit.
Drawing on Dostoevsky’s The Grand Inquisitor, we explore the tension between freedom and control, conscience and comfort, Christ and coercive authority. What happens when a culture prefers security over truth? What happens when the Church forgets how to judge by fruit?
This episode is dedicated to my mentor, Bishop Dwain Houser of blessed memory, who taught me what freedom in Christ truly means and to my fellow Coworkers of Christ, whose faithfulness makes this work possible.
This is not about outrage.
It is about clarity.
It is not about partisanship.
It is about discernment.
A tree may look sturdy, and many may gather beneath its shade, but it is the fruit that reveals its truth. What it bears over time tells us what it really is.
Watch the fruit.
Listen. Reflect. Share.
